The Institute for Energy and Environmental Research (ifeu) has established itself as an independent competence center in the field of environmental research. The Institute’s expertise covers areas such as the environmental impact of freight transport, energy supply and renewable energy, life cycle analysis, air pollution control, sustainable development, environmental impact assessment and environmental management.
INFRAS
INFRAS provides research and consultancy services on social, economic and environmental issues to policy makers and companies. INFRAS, based in Zurich and Berne, is an independent, private company focused on developing concepts and strategies for sustainable mobility at national and international level.
Fraunhofer IML
The Fraunhofer Institute for Material flow and Logistics IML contributes its expertise to the emission assessment of logistics locations. The methodology was develped in cooperation with well-known industrial partners in the research project Green Logistics, which is also referred to by the Global Logistics Emissions Council GLEC.
