At EcoTransIT World, our core mission has always been clear: helping our customers decarbonize freight transport by making emissions transparent, comparable, and actionable. Today, we are excited to announce another step in this journey: EcoTransIT World has officially joined the Smart Freight Centre (SFC) as a member and a key partner within the Tool Provider Community.
While this membership marks a new formal chapter, we have been part of the SFC community for many years.
A history of shared standards
For years, EcoTransIT World has been more than just a software provider; we have been an active contributor to the standards for transport emission calculation. Our relationship with the SFC is built on proven, scientific methods:
- GLEC Framework: We have been closely connected to the GLEC program for years, contributing our expertise to the development of the GLEC Framework.
- Early Adopters: EcoTransIT was one of the first to be officially certified for both the GLEC Framework and later the ISO 14083 standard.
- Strategic Partnership: Our commitment to maritime decarbonization and collection of primary data is steadfast through our partnership with Clean Cargo (via IVE mbH).
